Each season the YSBA shall present Rep and Select awards for some or all (at the discretion of the YSBA Board of Directors) of the following categories:

- All nominations must be submitted electronically via the YSBA website, no later than the posted deadline.
- Only nominations that are approved by the applicable Local president will be considered.
- Only the YSBA award winners shall be approved for submission to Baseball Ontario as the YSBA nominees to be considered for the annual OBA Awards.
- The YSBA Awards of Excellence winners will be announced at the YSBA AGM (typically in October of each year).
- Award winners and a guest will be invited to the YSBA AGM
